What to do

How to delete pages from a PDF

  1. Drop your PDF above. Remove pages mode is already on.
  2. In Pages to remove, type the page numbers to delete, like 2 or 3, 8-10.
  3. Click Remove pages and download the new copy. It is saved with “-edited” in the name.

All the other pages stay in their original order. Your original file is not changed.

Common reasons to remove pages

A note on privacy

Removing a page takes it out of the new file completely. It does not hide it. But if you need to black out part of a page (a bank number, say), this tool cannot do that; you need a redaction tool.

The work happens in your browser, so the document you are cleaning up is not uploaded to anyone, including us. The new copy contains only the pages you kept, with their text, images and links as they were.

If the file is still too big

After removing pages, run the file through Compress PDF and set a target such as under 200 KB. Scanned pages usually shrink a lot; text pages are already small.

Questions

Can I undo it?

Your original file is never changed, so just start again from it.

Can I remove every page except one?

Yes. Or switch to “Keep pages” and type the one page you want.

Is the removed page really gone?

Yes. Removed pages are not copied into the new PDF at all.
