A PDF toolkit that does not take your file.

Most “free PDF” sites ask you to upload a document, wait, then pay to download it. FilesStay is the opposite: four jobs, running on the machine in front of you.

The four jobs are compress, merge, split, and JPG/PNG to PDF. That is v1 on purpose. We do not OCR. We do not edit text. We do not sign documents. If a tool is not on the home page, we do not offer it yet.

Why it is free

There is no server processing these files, so there is no per-file cost. The site is static pages and JavaScript. You can use the four tools without an account and without a daily cap.

What we will not do

• We will not upload your PDFs to “the cloud” for these tools.
• We will not put a paywall on these four jobs.
• We will not pretend this is a full PDF editor.
